Wow! There's a lot to be learned here on Flickr and I've had great fun exploring the creative nooks and crannies, sharing my pictures and seeing the comments from fellow Flickr members.

Presently I shoot with a Canon EOS 40D and a CHDK hacked Canon SD700IS. CHDK, if you're not familiar with it, is software that extends the abilities of some point & shoot Canons to include things like shooting in RAW format. That's pretty cool for a tiny, pocketable camera!

As you will see from my photostream, my passion is for road tripping and landscape photography. I'm happy to share what I've learned so far, so if you have a question, just send me a message :-)

Or better yet, visit my new BLOG where I'm posting photo tips, road trip related stuff and photo equipment news!

    Jim's outside photos says:

"Cliff has documented a lot of his life with photos. Great stuff from Yosemite! He has his priorities right. He retains the inspiration that nature, at its best provides. We should all be so lucky."

    pfflyers1 says:

"When you think of Yosemite Valley, you think of great men like John Muir, Ansel Adams and Teddy Roosevelt, but since I've disovered Cliff Stone's work on Flickr, I now include his name amongst these icons.

A man who has spent the better part of his early years living and working in this special place. All the while documenting his journey through fascinating photography. He knows the place as well as anyone and freely displays its history throughout his life.

I strongly urge you to go through his stream to see why he and so many others have fallen in love with this sacred ground"
