I am rather new at photography. It is a growing passion that I just can't seem to afford yet to realize the full potential of my passion for it. As it stands I am only shooting with a Canon Powershot A560. I dream and dream of owning a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I am often disapointed with what I shoot but I find myself posting the photographs that I like despite the limitations of my camera.

I haven't found my voice (eye?) yet and don't know what direction I want my photography to take. I have a desire to shoot portraits but am too shy to ask people to pose for me, especially while only shooting with a digital point and shoot.

I continue to dream and to shoot and some day I hope I will take that one photograph that will signal to me that I am a true and commited photographer.

Please don't steal my photography, and please let me know if you want to use any of them for non-commercial purposes.


Please don't be offended if I favorite a picture of yours and don't leave a comment. I find myself repeating the same things over and over again in the comments I leave. Suffice it to say that if I favorite your picture it's because I find something beautiful, intriguing, or interesting about it. Sometimes it's something I can't put into words, so a pink star will have to do. That doesn't mean I never leave comments but not everytime.

I have decided to make some of my photographs available for purchase. Please contact me through Flicr Mail or my e-mail address jakobbnbaldwin@gmail.com if you are interested. I use a professional color lab in Spokane WA that uses the highest quality paper and printers. Their prints are fabulous!


One quick note, I am pretty liberal about adding people to my contact list but if you don't have any photos available for me to see when you add me I WILL NOT ADD YOU AND I WILL BLOCK YOU. That for now is my simple easy to follow and very easy rule. Oh and if you have had no activity in a 12 month period I will remove you from my contact list.. I do check that at least once a month.

I have decided to change my policy about my contacts without recent activity...if you have not posted in the past 6 months (with some exceptions) I will delete you from my friends list. I add most people because I want to see their work...if they have nothing to add why keep them cluttering up my friends list.

Also, for those I keep in constant contact with I am going to make you part of my friend status, so I know not to accidentally delete you in the future.
