Hi all, thanks for stopping by. No, I am not a cowboy, but I do like my new hat. I'm interested to know how you came across my photos, so let me know if you have a minute.

I am both a graduate and current student at the University of Maryland, and working for the U.S. Army as a Mechanical Engineer. I am saving money to buy a house, which means I don't buy many things I want, including a pro membership to Flickr (at least, not yet).

It is a sad day when I reach the upload limit for the month, and as you all know, 20 Mb doesnt go very far with 3Meg pictures. :(

Maybe YOU could fix this problem, and make me very happy by buying a Pro account for a Flickr friend. Hey, it's worth a try, isn't it? :)

Over the past 6 years I have taken a ton of photos, and up to this point have done basically nothing with them except fill up my hard drive...so I think its about time to search through them and try and pick out a few of the better ones to share.

Most of these pictures have been taken with a Cannon SD630, which would be a great camera if it wasn't for the short battery life and lack of battery indicator... Some of the older ones were taken with a Kodak DC5000, which I believe to be one of the first digital cameras in exsistance (well...maybe not, but 7 years old is pretty old in digital camera years).

Question: why would anyone want to know my airport code? That just seems like an odd thing to put in a profile.

More here later...
