I am 31 years old. I am a daughter, sister, friend. I'm a spreadsheet geek with a sharp mind and a nurturing heart. I'm a professional driven by the billable hour, and a counselor for human beings that can't be quantified. I'm a bottle-blonde fat chick in hip-hugging jeans and 3-inch heels. I am a lot of things that can't be described in 50 words or less.

[05/18/07] Today, I was told I am a cancer patient. I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, a very aggressive form of lung cancer that kills 80-85% of its victims within two years of diagnosis.

Today, I am declaring that I will also be a cancer survivor.

This site is a way for me to sort of take my support team along for the ride. I invite anyone reading this to send good wishes, thoughts, prayers, positive vibes, affirmations, or whatever beneficial energy you believe in. I believe that receiving support will help as I begin this fight.
