I'm in my mid fifties, have always enjoyed photography but my interest really took off with the digital age.

Started off with a Ricoh, then a Pentax Optio before discovering a superb little camera, a Panasomic Lumix FX9 which took some lovely shots. Tried a Lumix FZ7 but this didn't really take any better shots than the FX9. After quickly unloading this to a work mate, I invested in a DSLR the Nikon D50.

I've recently upgraded to a D300 and a D7000.

My lenses include a Sigma 10-20mm 10-20 F4-5.6 f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM, Nikon 18-200 AF-S DX VR f/3.5-5.6 , Nikon 35mm f/1.8 prime lens and a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Lens .

All my photo's are shot in RAW format and processed through Photoshop CS3.

I passionately take most of my shots of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Highlands of Scotland, places I dearly love and I hope you enjoy them. I hope I am improving my technique but will you to be the judge of that ! Thanks for looking at my photos and profile and a big thank you to all the friends I've made over the past 2 years.
