Hey, I'm Dani. I first picked up a camera at 8 years old, my dad's Minolta x-370. I finally inherited the camera for good in high school and shot through it for years before purchasing a Nikon D80*. My current lens selection is small, but I just upgraded my kit Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200VR for a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8. I started shooting sports only after I became an avid rugby fan, and shot for the Salisbury University Women's Rugby Team for about a year before transferring to University of South Carolina. Currently, I am looking at photography schools, with the goal of one day actually getting paid to have all this fun. :) Shout out to the Washington Fireants hockey team! They are awesome and if you live around DC and love hockey it's a good way to get your fix when the Caps aren't on the ice! Or in my case, when the Pens aren't being broadcast down here!

My dream is to one day shoot for a Pittsburgh sports team, although as long as I'm somewhere shooting I'll be happpy.

*Recently upgraded to a D300 and battery grip. Such a good gametime decision.

Oh, and if you disrespect the Steelers or the Penguins you are disrespecting me. Just don't do it. I'm feisty.
