I love to make pics of old graveyards and cemeteries, castles, ruins and old architecture, also of sculptures and statues. Besides i make also "normal" pics of family, travel, friends, nature and so on. Black&White and Sepia are favorites in editing pictures, i like unsual and strange angles, perspectives and postions when making photos.



It's really important for me to document these old graveyards and this "old-fashioned" kind of tombs and grave sculptures, because they are about to disappear and to be forgotten by the people. This classical graves, tombs and the culture behind are part of our history and a document about how people lived with death and sorrow in the past. Their relationship to this was totally diffrent and more intimate, death was a normal part of life.

"Siehe was wir waren und erkenne was wir sind!"



Also very intresting are the symbols, mostly christian but also a wide range of pagan and occult signs. Sometimes they are really hard to read and translate.
