I'm a 66 year old lady who got her hands on a camera about 7 years ago and I have been exploring nature and enjoying the surprises my lens shows me.

I've been married longer than I was single. I do some oil painting and I design and make my own beaded ornaments. I'm basically a craft person at heart having done sewing, knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, crewel, felt work, toy painting, clothing painting, wall murals, stenciling, faux stained glass, rug hooking, calligraphy, etc. Now I am enjoying gardening and photographing my plants and the animals that visit. - A Jersey Girl transplanted to the state of "Shake and Bake" [California].

My husband is a train enthusiast and a train modeler, too. He works in O scale. He has had 3 feature articles on his layouts over the years and he has 2 published train books. He liquidates train photo slide collections on eBay for people who want to sell their slides. Before semi-retirement he was a Sr. VP/Creative director with NY and Los Angeles advertising agencies and has several Clios and other advertising awards to his credit.
