I'm primarily drawn to the images created with my arsenal of crappy plastic cameras and obscure medium format cameras sporting homemade lenses that I've rigged up.

2008 is beginning to look like a good year so far:

I won third place in the 10th annual Krappy Kamera Competition juried by Jill Enfield for my photo, Cross. The show runs March 4-29, 2008 at the Soho Photo Gallery, 15 White Street, New York, New York. The opening reception is from 6 to 9 pm on March 4;

I'm also honored to have had Cross also be chosen by that lovely and extremely talented juror, Susan Burnstine, for the Toy Stories exhibition sponsored by the New Orleans Photo Alliance. The show runs February 16 through April 1. The opening reception will be Saturday, February 16 from 6 - 9 p.m at the NOPA Gallery at 1111 St. Mary St., New Orleans, LA 70130.

In addition, I made the final round of Photolucida's 2007 Critical Mass competition. Over 200+ reviewers will look over the work of the finalists. The top three finishers will get a monograph of their work published while the top 50 will get their work shown online on the Critical Mass website.
