"DJP72~ A man of vision and purpose, with a very understanding wife + 2 cute sons.
A life lived daily through the lense and a passion for being real, honest and helpful in life, he don't know it all and he'll tell ya - but he does know somethings about many things!
He's a true mate with no pretention, a spiritual man indeed. Check his photos and see a photographer with a selective view finder, a keen eye for form, tone and colour, a junkie for his craft and a driven individual bent on recording, dipicting and memorialising the daily but important habits of life! An awesome portfolio as a wedding photographer sets DJP as a most versatile and perceptive person, capturing images found in the moment, responses formed and atuned to an intuitive pulse, capturing moments that couples cherish through out the years.
being a friend might make me bias, but the truth ain't worth fighting!"26th December, 2006

"My sexy husband, Kirby, and I had Darren take our engagement photos, as well as some family photos. Darren has an amazing talent for capturing the essence of people! His photos are very personal and intimate, but what makes them really stand apart from others is the way the catch glimpses of our true selves."

"Darren really has a way to seize a moment in time. I'm always excited to see what he captures. And the photos of Drummond are adorable you can feel the life of the little boy when you look at his pictures. Good photographer and good subject matter. His photos get an A+ in my book."

"Well I've only know djp for a short time (know on the flickr community)
But i'd have to say his photo's inspire, astond, fill me with warmth, and make me want to go to live show's
but i think the biggest thing that i like about mister dj-p is his devotion to family (i get that cause i see all the foto's of them) It's a tough thing balancing work and family (i'm a work aholik, and am hoping i'll be good at it when i get there) & i think he does it well (once again my only evidence is his foto's)
so yeah djp RØCK's !!!"10th November, 2005

"Darren is an stellar photographer.
His eye captures things through a camera lens that one normally wouldn't notice. His eye for weddings is amazing, and I wish he had been in the U.S. for our wedding. Maybe we'll have another one and make him come!
He brings the beauty out of everyone
He also has a cute head."10th November, 2005
