I love taking pictures and I've been doing it for over two years now. I've been using the same Canon XTi and it's been great to me.
Currently I shoot with 50mm, f1.8 and the kit lens at 18-55mm (non-IS). I want to get a good telephoto lens with IS and a good flash, but so far this is just a hobby. I don't really know if it'll turn into anything more.
I've taken well over 6000 photos, but I only post the most meaningful ones. I have trouble posting just random shots that go all over the place, I think certain pictures speak volumes to me and those are the ones I post. Apart from that, each photo has a story, I can remember everything that was happening at that time, it's a story of my life if anything.
I think that's what sets my photos apart from others, I don't take pictures because I want to display some work of art in some enigmatic sense for a viewer to ponder over. I want to display life - mine or others. Because in truth, while we may live life, that doesn't mean we see it.
