This interest in photography began in my late teens when my parents gave me a Nikon SLR. There's no undo or bulk erase in film, so I worked in video for a decade or so, knowing that cheap digital photography was coming.

I salvaged a beater point and shoot with a screwdriver and a can of compressed air and it limps along tolerably well. In the mean time I train my eyes to look for beauty in the random and the perfect place to crop.

I'm 35 years old, married and soon to be a dad. We live in Houston, TX, but try to get back to the land whenever we can.
