We primarily use this Flickr account to share photos with friends and relatives near and far. I have a strong interest in photography but don't have the time to devote to really learning the ins and outs. My daughter Kyra and I enjoy taking photos and submitting them to the yearly Iowa State Fair Photography Salon. Kyra has won four awards to date...one first place ribbon in 2009, one second place ribbon in 2008, and two honorable mentions in 2011. I am very proud of her and have to laugh when she tells everyone how she has now won four ribbons to my one.
