I am two semesters away from graduating from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Environmental Horticulture. WOOHOO!!!
As a result you will find that the overwhelming majority of my photos are of plants and nature in general. Of course I am still trying to get caught up posting all of my photos.
I come from an art background. Took private lessons from ages 13-18. Took every art class in high school that I could and took photography classes during the summer. As a result I became a picky bitch when it comes to painting. So I decided to go in another direction...Photography. Although I would love to take a ceramics class if I ever have time.
Oh and my father is an artist.
I have always liked creative writing as well and started my blog neon taquitos to post short stories.
Several years ago I bought a Nikon Coolpix 4300 and have been learning how to use my camera ever since. Recently my boy added a Cannon Powershot SD790 IS Digital Elph to the camera collection, so now I am learning a new camera.
