I am an animal lover, both domestic and wild. I stop for turtles crossing the road and I rescue baby birds in distress. I am owned by three exotic birds, Autumn is an African Gray, Kelsey is a Senegal, and Jax is a Sun Conure. I am also ruled by 7 dogs (3 are rescues) - 2 St. Poodles, 3 Yorkie/Maltese mix, 1 Pomeranian, and 1 Cocker Spaniel. Angel is my first yorkie/maltese mix, thus my Momtoangel name. I like to think "A world without animals is not worth living in." Oh, and I have an identical twin sister who loves animals just as much as I do!
Spring 2009: I am once again raising a 6-week old baby squirrel whom I've named Summer. She was found abandoned by a neighbor and brought to me. She is eating her formula on a regular basis, but also eating walnuts, apples, sweet potato, green beans, and shelled peanuts. I expect to release her the end of May.
