I'm a retail analyst by profession, and a traveler and reader by nature. I traded in the endless hours in retail to work at home as a freelance writer and researcher, which I absolutely love doing. I enjoy blogging, collecting art, reading and traveling in my spare time. Wait, I have spare time? Not anymore! My little baby Elisha took up all my spare time, and happily so.

What does ganobristol mean? It's a combination of our two addresses when we lived in Rhode Island...on gano street in Providence, down the road from Brown University and then in the seaside town of Bristol nearby.

"Shalini’s pics have a sense of sereneity about them. As I go through each graceful pic, I find myself becoming a part of her everyday life. The pleasure that she derives from framing each shot and then clicking the pic can be felt when we see the final frame.
Thank you for sharing your pics, Shalini :)"

"This lady here is the sweetest person I ever met, and although I never met here in reality, her photography is showing me that I am right in this jugdement. She is not only a very skilled photographer but a wonderful person too! Her photos are full of life and what nice angles she is catching.
Some persons are like that, whatever they see infront ot them, they see just the good things in it and leave the rest aside! She possess this special quality, and the comments she gave on my ordinary photos show this.
I really want to thank you dear Ganobristal for your ever inspiring words and your wonderful presents on flickr.
May God shower you with never ending creative ideas and may you and your family stay always happy and in good health! My best wishes, Kishori Ray [Calcutta, India]"
