A passion, not a profession:

I took my first picture with my mom's old Brownie 126 box camera around 1965. I got a developing kit for contact photos that year, and spent the day creating a dark room. I was only 6 years old, so my dad helped.

I shot with any camera I could, then finally saved enough money to get a Nikkormat, and a telephoto lense (125mm),and a dark room. Shot with that camera all through highschool, year book, college :-) It still works and shoots great shots.

I took the Nikkormat to africa in 1980 when I went to Peace Corps in Sierra Leone. I shot "blind" for three years. I didn't know if camera was working at one point, so I took a set and "borrowed" a lab/darkroom.

Bought a Nikon F2, then a N80 film, and shot film, and developed in darkroom for years....

Finally decided to go Digital, and got a Nikon D100 in 2001 with a extra battery extension, and with a Nikkor 24-85mm (2.80f), and a Sigma100-300 (3.5f). The body got wet, and had to replace twice;

The lenses still works, but only on manual with the D5100. Nikon got it right... The old lenses still mount onto new cameras.

Current Shooting setup:
Nikon D100
Nikon D5100
Nikon SB-800 flash and cables;
Nikon 8080 (Film): Loaded with "Slide" film.
Kodak box film cameras (Just in case);

Digital editing software (Philosophy):
- If I could do it in a darkroom, it's OK.
- Adjusting photos is the same dark room crop, burn, paper;
- HRD is just the same effect, but easier.

Shooting schedule:
- Parrelles; Similar, but different
