I grew up (and currently live) in Cairns but have lived in Sydney and Melbourne. I got my first camera in 2006 but only got the photography bug in 2008. At first I used a point-&-shoot camera but I hit the wall of what it could do pretty quickly after. Since then I haven't taken much photography but this was a blessing in disquise as I took the time to start learning to use The Gimp. As of November 2010 I have a Pentax K-X DSLR and will be focusing on learning to use it. This will also give me new material to use in The Gimp to continue my digital artwork.
I think it a shame that we can't separate our photostreams beyond folders so I have created three Flickr accounts to do that for me.
