Native of San Antonio. As a young boy, I escaped the weekly horrors of sitting in the waiting area of the beauty salon my mother visited when she let me spend the time at the nearby Alamo instead. My dad worked for a quarter century at the Quadrangle at Ft. Sam Houston. With a lineage like that in my formative years, is it any wonder that I became a local history buff?

I love this town and all its history. So many interesting places and stories to tell. When I retire, I want to be a local tour guide (I do it already, I just don't get paid for it).

When I travel, I particulary search out scenic spots and hope that the light is right when I'm there. It all comes down to the character of the light to make a great picture. Sometimes you get great light and sometimes you just have to make do.
