Just some (nearly) middle aged bloke with a camera, who occasionally has the good fortune to point it at something visually appealing. As I work in Riyadh, the chances are you'll see many things Arabic, whether here or in one of the other Gulf states.

I mainly use a Canon 5D Mark II or a Canon 7D these days, the Canon 350D which was used up until April 2009 having been pensioned off, but images can also be found taken with an Olympus C-730, a Nokia 6230i or even an iPhone 3GS. At some point in the future there may even be seen something taken on my wife'sPanasonic G1. There's also a Panasonic FX33 which lives in the car glovebox. Cameras are something we don't seem to have any shortage of.
