  ""Artkat" is the most amazing woman that I know. Her oldest son is my husband, but she is just as much my mother as if we were flesh and blood. She is extremely talented, in many ways, not just with her paintings and photography, but her art of balance between her heart and soul. Her new hobbies are being fully embraced because she is the best kind of mom. She is the kind of mom that put everything on "hold" for her husband and her children. The kind that always put other's interests before her own, and that is why I believe she is somewhat new to being an artist. Now that her daughter has become a fabulous woman and her sons are wonderful grown men, she is taking more time for herself and her interests.
