A bit about myself...

I'm a child of '72 and I live in the UK in Sutton, just south of London. I have been taking photos seriously since 1993. I have always used Canon EOS and used to love Fuji Velvia in my film days.

I have been digital for 2 & 1/2 years now though and love the flexibily it gives. And no more film or processing costs! Although there was something magic, so full of proimise, about unwrapping and loading a fresh roll of film that I do miss it a bit.

I don't have a specialist subject, I just photograph what interests me although I particularly enjoy sports and wildlife.

As well as photography I also love cycling, doing a 32 mile round trip to work and back most days and a few 100 to 170 mile rides during the summer.

Maybe one day I'll go in for a race - nervous I'm not fit enough for it though...

Restoring 1950s bicycles and cyclemotors is something I have also started enjoying and I dabble in astronomy from time to time as well.

I also love the 1930's art deco period and early modernism. Poirot with David Suchet is about the only thing I watch on telly!
