PaulGreen's photostream

![]()
Hi I'm a Yorkshire man now living and working in Bristol I would also call myself a entuseastic amateur photographer just having lots of fun with a camera.
I have always loved art and photography, mainly patterns, shapes, abstracts, colours and graphic shapes. So when I started taking photos back in February 2007 I discovered a whole new world that I had just not seen and have enjoyed every minute since as I now see the world in a different light but it does make my stream a bit eclectic but I'm happy with that!
Any constructive comments or help/ advice is always welcome or if you just fancy a chat then just drop me a line.
I would just like to say thank you to all who visit and comment on my Flickr stream I really appreciated it, and for anyone who make me a contact, its very much appreciated, but I'm sorry if I don't always return the favor so please don't be offended, although I try hard to there is defiantly not enough time in the day to do every thing I need to do also I'm away a lot with my work and I have no access to a computer.
Ok next thing I'm DYSLEXIC so I get a lot of my words and spelling wrong so I apolagise upfront in case I upset anyone!
To contact me about photo usage just drop me a line on Flickr or Email but please don't ask me to donate shots for free if you are not a charitable organisation all my photos are Copyright/All Rights Reserved and I only put low res photos on Flickr.
I also have a blog which is Enuart if you fancy having a look, I often post extra stuff there rather than just put it all on Flickr ......
Thank you for taking an interest in my work,
I only work with available and continuous light for my photography
If you would like to commission some individual and interesting shots then please do send me an email on the email link above

lorenzodom says:
"Paul Green is proof that if we simply open our eyes we should not be surprised that beauty surrounds us.
His work orients us in the right direction—a positive orientation toward appreciating everything and everyone around us.
His photos clearly demonstrate that one need not go to a museum to appreciate the beauty of life; he reminds us that architects, industrial, commercial and advertising designers are artists too, for they are often just as concerned about aesthetics as are painters, sculptors or other visual artists.
It is because we are so focused on what lies ahead—the diurnal drudgery of the job, sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours, a pile of bills to pay—that we tend to overlook and pass and forget about the beauty of life and our daily lives. Thank you for reminding us to stop and smell and admire and appreciate the flowers Paul!
Regards,
Lorenzo!

"Visual Candy... Those two words sum up, for me, Paul Green's images. I take a few moments every day to have a little taster of what he is shooting. But I have to be careful not to overindulge as hours could be lost strolling through his photostream.
His ability to capture colours in the everyday is well known but I also recommend making your way to his Black and White and People sets. It is here that you will see that Paul is not just a one trick pony."9th August, 2009

"When I first joined Flickr around a year or so ago I had no idea that this man would have such an influence on my own photography. I've seen that there is more to this world than first meets the eye. If ever I get to be anywhere near to half as good as this guy, then I'll be content with what I've achieved.
This guy is the Colour King of Flickr......He's Paul Green.......and he's a nice bloke too..."4th August, 2009

"What is impressive about Paul's photography is that for someone with such a recognisable style, he never seems to repeat himself. What is especially impressive about Paul's photography is that he posts several pictures a day and all are of the same high standard.
His stream is THE place to see great composition and rich colour skillfully combined."25th January, 2008

"What can I say that hasn't already been said? PaulGreen is a master of color, detail and unique perspectives. Most of his images have a joyful light and sense of fun about them - the colors are alive and breathing. Other shots are stunning and rich in black + white. I am certainly glad I stumbled across his stream. Thanks for sharing, Paul!"

Tony Browne says:
"Paul has a hunger for taking photographs, and has a determination thats leads him to go out with his camera at unholy hours of the morning and to repeat his visits to a site until he is happy with the lighting conditions. He is able to perceive and achieve great photographs from material that lesser photographers would pass by. His colour photographs are truly about colour, that is he uses colour properly. This is far rarer than one might think. He is well worth keeping an eye on! Oh, and he's a nice bloke too."

"It goes almost without saying that Paul has a fantastic eye for colour, texture and shape. Even a quick glance at his work reveals superbly captured geometry, intriguing patterns and a dramatic palette. His work is a wonderful adventure through hitherto everyday scenes - it's a real inspiration. But what I would really like to highlight is how Paul is so quick to praise others. He is invariably the first to comment on my images and I really appreciate that."

"I know Paul doesn't need another Testimonial, but he deserves it. Since the first time i saw his stream i couldn't avoid to add him as a contact, and to invite him to join one of my groups.
He has a great eye capturing images full of color and with interesting composition.

"PG is someone that, when knocked down, will get back up again and find a completely new way of doing things. His photos are deceptively complicated - pinpoint perfect composition and the right balance of colour. I've tried so hard to replicate what he is so talented at producing, but I fail ever time! There's only one Paul Green, that's for sure."

Neil Hobbs says:
"You can instantly recognise a Paul Green photo: the colour just leaps off your screen & grabs you.
He also has the annoying habit of finding wonderful images in everyday places. Places that I have walked past hundreds of times & not noticed until I've seen Paul's vision of it.
Says he is a beginner but I don't believe him! he's just too good."21st July, 2007
