  "Paul has a hunger for taking photographs, and has a determination thats leads him to go out with his camera at unholy hours of the morning and to repeat his visits to a site until he is happy with the lighting conditions. He is able to perceive and achieve great photographs from material that lesser photographers would pass by. His colour photographs are truly about colour, that is he uses colour properly. His photos are deceptively complicated - pinpoint perfect composition and the right balance of colour. I've tried so hard to replicate what he is so talented at producing, but I fail ever time!
