Hi its ashish sharma freelance photojournalist in Kashmir India. at the age of nine i use to shoot pictures using a simple film camera taking pictures of mountains and whereever is use to go usually i did carry my camera along with me. The inspiration of taking pictures i have got it from my father as he is a professional photographer in kashmir valley and use to have a popular photo studio in early 1980"s i use to see my father taking pictures saw his slides,prints and that thing got me inspired to become a professional photographer at the age of 12 i got best photography award from jammu and kashmir government eco friends where i have shot some pictures of world famous dal-lake which was being polluted by the people and causing a damage to the famous lake. i use to continue my studies alongwith passion of photography watching the ongoing conflict in my childhood i decided to see this conflict through my camera lens and now my news pictures have been published in many international photo agencies and some famous news papers of india now i have become a freelancer photographer in kashmir covering ongoing conflict in kashmir. Shooting breaking news as well as feature images in kashmir which have been appreciated by my seniors photographers in kashmir and editors around globe.
