I try to closely relate my art to what I see and experience. Usually relying on the personal past and present using my eyes as a filter to distill, expound, or expose what is exciting or arresting. Familiar images inside or around the home or more "unfamiliar" settings gravitate towards a chosen private aesthetic often groping for the moment's raptness or deep emotion.
