I am originally from a small town in Ohio, but lived most of my life in the Washington, DC area while working for the Federal Govt. I retired in mid-2008 to the beach in Delaware and am enjoying a new phase of life
I love to travel and most of my pre-retirement pictures are those taken while vacationing...especially in the islands.
On October 4, 2008, I adopted Missy, a Shih Tzu puppy. Since then, my Flickr pix have become largely puppified. :) I do several different kinds of volunteer work--office work, reading to pre-school children, animal welfare, etc.
