Having had the opportunity to visit different parts of the world since childhood, one of the best ways share the experience with family & friends were to bring home the memories in the shape of photographs.

While I was studying in Osaka (Japan) 2006 – 2007, I was introduced to “Facebook” by Emi; a colleague to share our common interest in travelling & photography. After a few months, friends commented on my eye for photography & hence, inspired me to pick it up as a hobby.

My best friend Afu & Azzu a.k.a. Double Dot encouraged me to put aside my Sony Cyber Shot and pick up a DSLR Camera & also sign up for “Flickr” too.

In early 2008, I bought a Nikon D60 and began building on my keen interest in photography and I started to share my pictures here on “Flickr”.

In May 2010, I got a Canon G11 as a birthday gift from my wife . I took the liberty to buy a WP-DC34 underwater housing for it to do underwater photography which I started earlier in the year. A PADI certified diving license was next on my mind to share shots of the world renowned Maldivian underwater beauty.
