I play badminton in the winter and soccer in the summer, take photographs whenever and wherever, and like to get out in my sea/touring kayak from time to time. I have an interest in theatre, was Founding Director of the Amateur Cumberland Theatre Society and served for a period of time as the Northern Area representative for the Eastern Ontario Drama League.
Definitely 50+ and being asked to show my i.d. again! .

FLICKR GROUPS: I appreciate invites to groups and try to fulfill the group obligations but only when I have the time.

CONTACTS: I choose my contacts for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is because they photograph the same things that I do (flora and fauna and things natural). Sometimes it is because they photograph different parts of the world where I may never get to visit. Sometimes it is because they experiment with different techniques that I find interesting (B&W, IR, PP manipulations, digiscoping, etc.). Sometimes it is simply because I have met them in person and found them to be interesting individuals with wonderful personalities. Whatever the reason, I value my contacts as they can act as my eyes on the world, and can provide a glimpse at the technology and photographic possibilities that are available. Very often their posted work provides me with an eye-opening glimpse at what can be achieved by some very talented individuals.



BLOCKING ACTIONS: I tend to block Flickr individuals who have little or no information in their profile or no photos to share.

TRIVIA STATS:
