oggi ho riaperto flickr dopo forse anni.
cioè, non che non lo avessi aperto più recentemente di "anni", ma diciamo che oggi, straordinariamente, mi sono guardata tante pagine del mio stream.
ho pianto e riso, ma soprattutto pianto, perché è stato come ritrovare un diario sepolto. cioè. io non ho mai trovato un diario sepolto, ma penso che chi lo trova debba sentirsi più o meno come mi sento io.
mi ricordo una volta di aver ascoltato l'intervista di uno che per mestiere attraversava da solo gli oceani.
ciò che raccontava con profonda fierezza era incredibile, la sua filosofia di vita, fatta di mare e solitudine, era degna di quella dell'ultimo vero eroe dei nostri tempi.
e ad un certo punto gli hanno chiesto:
"ha dei rimpianti?"
lui ci ha pensato a lungo, e poi ha detto:
"una volta, era l'alba, l'oceano era calmo, quando improvvisamente una balena è emersa a pochi metri da me, e poi si è rituffata nell'acqua, in un istante. allora io mi sono girato per dire "...ooooh! hai visto?!?!?" ...e non c'era nessuno."

la condivisione è il gesto più umano che ci sia. tutto ciò che si ha di importante, che si ama, (non conta se eternamente, o per un istante), lo si vuole condividere, e con più persone possibili.
quindi, anche se non ho ritrovato -tutte- le foto, posso dire di aver trovato tutto ciò che per me è stato importante.
ho ritrovato persone, luoghi, oggetti, momenti. ma soprattutto ho potuto accarezzare il volto di mio padre sullo schermo.
e forse ora ho capito perché in un momento così tragico, avevo avuto il coraggio sfrontato di fotografarlo, e si, metterlo su flickr. perché già sapevo che lo stavo perdendo, e lanciandolo nel futuro volevo salvarlo, perché se una foto può' esistere per sempre, anche lui l'avrebbe fatto.
la memoria è una mercenaria, si fa chiamare come vuoi, indossa gli abiti che le dai, sparisce senza dire niente proprio quando ti serve, oppure ti lascia di lei solo un frammento che non ha più senso perché si è perso tutto il resto.
la foto invece è pura e onesta. quando la cerchi è lì. non ti abbandona. è felice quando tu sei felice, e triste quando sei triste. non riuscirebbe a mentire neanche se volesse.

è da tempo che non scatto una foto. non ne ho il tempo né la voglia, e la mia macchina è piena di polvere, o almeno credo sia polvere, perché quando premo a volte non scatta, e spero non sia qualcosa di più serio. ma rivedere quelle che facevo mi ha fatto venire una grande nostalgia. perciò se dovessi farne di nuovo, sporadicamente, senza pretese, semplici istantanee, considerando che non ha senso lasciarle per secoli in qualche hard disk esterno, o computer che verrà riformattato, o backuppate come files che poi si riveleranno illeggibili per qualche assurdo motivo, penso che le metterò di nuovo qui.
