I'm a part-time artist with a full-time career. I've been doing pottery for 20 years, and for the past 5 years I've been hand-building sculptures using a slab roller and applying textures I find -- at hardware stores, behind industrial buildings, in everyday manufactured goods, etc.

I call my theme "Industrial|Organic" -- my pieces combine the clear influence of the industrial pattern with life-forms, creating an alluring and somewhat unsettling juxtaposition.
