I’ve always enjoyed whimsical doodling and painting, even if it was quite novice. I started carving fishing lures in the 70’s and soon after added ice fishing decoys and other related stuff to my carvings. Much my work is done by using salvaged wood, recycled metal, garage sale paints, canvas and anything I can rescue from being thrown away.

I’m a lifetime member to the National Fish Decoy Association. I have my bio with the ’Fish Decoy Net’ and been fortunate enough to be January 2008 Carver of the month. I’m also pleased to say my work is in the Minnesota Fishing museum and last but not least, my work has been featured in Vogue.com, Shop the Look, On the Porch: Unexpected Art,

I find wood carving and painting a great way for me to relax and enjoy sharing my work with others.
