I have always loved to capture memories; whether through years of "diaries" as a teen, or pictures taken with my first Kodak instomatic camera. But photography really took on new meaning when I received a digital point & shoot camera with a10x's optical zoom & macro capabilities (Olympus C765). To be able to capture all that beauty of creation & family (I'm married, have 7 children, three still at home, & 11 grand children - very blessed!) in such a delightful way! I use my photos to make cards as a fund raiser for our Christian School. Several years ago I bought my first SLR (NIkon D40) and joined flickr. I recently bought a NIkon D 90. My flickr friends have been an inspiration & encouragement! I love to come to this site!
