I am a homeschooling mom to an awesome 6-yr-old little girl, and wife to an awesome hard-working husband.
I love to learn about photography and especially like taking pictures of children, animals, and macro insects & plants/flowers.
I have just upgraded this Christmas, to a Canon 5D Mark II and I love it! I love all of my lenses and new lighting kit too.
I am trying to learn more about lighting, and I have just finished my 365 as well as a 365 of my daughter.

I use Photoshop CS4.

"Since I'm far from the first person to write a testimonial for CrzysChick (there are 27 who went before me!), I'm sure nothing I say will be new, so let this reaffirm what others have said first.

I had seen her photography here and there in 365 Days but didn't really get to know anything about her until I started doing FGR. Now that I've come to know her, I often feel that I can't go to bed until I've seen her daily self-portraits and portraits of her darling daughter. And let me tell you, with the 3-hour time difference, that can be rough sometimes!

One thing you'll quickly notice about her photography is that it is so very expressive. You NEVER have to guess how her day has gone or whether she's happy or sad. She can post a photo and never give it a title or description and you'd be able to know a very great deal about how things are going for her and her family at the time the photo was taken.

One final thing: Although CrzysChick is insanely popular (rightly so!), she ALWAYS takes the time to respond to comments left on her photos and also comments extensively on others' photos. You don't see that very often and she's that much more special for it. I'm so very glad we became friends!"
