I'm a "sensitive soul" ... just turned the BIG 5-0 this last summer! :-O

Married to the most patient guy in the world ... a retired firefighter, and my personal "hero". Unfortunately, my opinion of men in general isn't too hot , but if you say yours is a "good one", I'll believe it for sure!

I love to dabble in various crafts, but I don't have a lick of "artistic" talent, unfortunately. I'm great at buying craft supplies though!

I LOVE the color pink , and the Vintage/Cottage look - that's "Cottage", NOT "Cutesy Country" , and there IS a difference! I love "kitch" as well.

I'm a total dog lover - no "human children" , but my doggies have been my babies over the years. I love and have had dachshunds, and a terrier mix we rescued from an abusive home. At present, we have a 9yr. old Lakeland Terrier named Gossip ... she's a real sweetie. I collect ANYTHING with Lakeland Terriers on it - and they are hard to find.

I love penpalling, swapping goodies, and some gardening and cooking.

When it comes to swapping, I will usually buy rather than make things for the packages I send out ... but I treasure anything handmade, no matter how simple it may be. I appreciate so much that someone would take the time to make something just for me. I'm not picky; storebought or handmade is fine with me!

The only colors I really don't like are orange, avocado green, and brown ... those 1960's "shag carpeting colors". Also, I have no children, so although I think kids are great, I really have no use for children's items or items related to children ... unless, of course, it's a pic of your child or grandchildren! :o)

I am NOT into confrontations or mean people ... it doesn't cost anything to be kind to someone.

I am a born-again Christian, with utter respect for other peoples' rights to follow their own paths. I do NOT preach or push my religious beliefs on others.
