I like taking pictures of nature, mainly of insects as you have probably found out! My favourite British insects are the shield bugs (Pentatomidae) and orthopteroid insects (grasshoppers, earwigs, stick insects, praying mantis).
I'm trying to tag my photos in a systematic way, with location and taxonomic data. My collections are undergoing constant reorganisation, so they can be a little messy sometimes.
If you see any insects or plants which I have not identified and you can offer an identification (putative or certain) then I would be very grateful to have it. I have been trying to identify more plants but it is a slow process for me!
I was using a Nikon D60 with a Sigma 105mm macro lens for most of 2009 but recently got myself a Nikon D80! The majority of my early photographs were taken with my first digital camera, a Nikon E5200.
