Don't know much about photography (except that always using the 0.3MP setting on my old FinePix A205 was probably not a good idea—don't laugh!), but am trying to learn (have graduated to a FinePix S700 although still nervously stuck in auto mode) and am definitely having fun.

Oh, and SOOC is best! :)

But really, whether through images or text, I guess we're all just trying to capture both the mundaneness (not a real word although I don't know why) and the surprise of everyday life.
