I took up photography in 2009 after having done nothing artistic since A level Art many years ago and it's turned into a pretty serious hobby now!

I started off with a Nikon setup (D50) which then got stolen out of my car, after that I moved across to Canon.
Here's the current gear list:
Canon EOS 400D
Sigma 18-200mm DC OS
Canon 50mm f1.8
Canon 35-80mm USM converted to 'macro mode'
Canon Speedlite 430EXII w/ Stofen diffuser and cheap eBay triggers or TTL cable
Several filters, most notably circular polariser, Cokin ND Grad and a couple of ND8s
Cheapo tripod or Joby Gorilla Pod SLR Zoom each fitted with Manfrotto mini ball head (484RC2)

Get the pleasure of borrowing my friends 10-22mm wideangle quite often too so you'll see that used in some of my landscape stuff.

I don't think I've developed a consistent style yet as I like to experiment and have a go with everything but my main focus is definitely landscape. I like taking photos where there aren't any other people!
