I was born in December 1942. I'm retired from the workforce. Before I retired, I was a Postal Manger with Aussie Post. I am interested in bushcare, gardening, family history research and the environment.
Family is very important to me and my wife and I have 18 grandkids.
When I was younger, I was very interested in photography but this waned through the years. However, since the invention of the digital camera and now owning one, my interest has rekindled. IAnother hobby is music and I play the piano and harmonica.

I am a survivor of prostate cancer. I had virtually no symptoms and it was only discovered when I had a simple blood test. I was lucky, the cancer was localised in the prostate and thus was "curable". So - You blokes reading this, if you have not done so, have this test done when you get a chance. It may save your life.
