Hi...thanks for stopping by for a visit !



Dawn, that wonderful time of day when "first light" occurs - it was light that first interested me in photography. The way that light played upon leaves or water or the face of a friend was very intriguing and I sought a way to "remember it" by preserving it on film.

During my University days I also discovered the physics of light. While that was interesting to me as an engineer it was the dance of light on the waves of the ocean that appealed more to the poet in me.

Photography is a form of creative expression and I'm very much an amateur so it's not been my career. But I have been exploring the world and chronicling in photographic form, many locations that I've visited .

The revolution in digital imaging has in recent years drawn me more closely to this passion of mine which has been enhanced by the warmth and positive energy of the Flickr community. This motivated my posting of what up to now have been mostly privately enjoyed images/verses.

I genuinely enjoy seeing "light" through your camera lens which as you know is directly connected to your hearts and souls. So we learn and share innermost things not having even met face to face. Thus we link hands with friends from around the world and explore a part of our humanity - an additional benefit beyond seeing all the great photographs !!
