Most of my photos are from University of the Pacific, where I work in the communications department, but a good portion are from my strange trips that I take throughout the region, from San Francisco to Virginia City to Washington D.C. I hope to eventually take my camera to Ireland and Japan and capture images there.

Besides photography, I also play jazz guitar in a swing band in the Central Valley and we donate all our money to a scholarship fund that encourages graduating seniors to study music and art. I also play some blues guitar and am a movie fanatic.

The photos I take usually are of people on the street or of events that I find of interest. Very few of my photos are "staged" and most were taken at public events. Unfortunately, some of the events that I have photographed are considered to be "offensive" to people and sometimes include such themes as civil rights, ethnic equality and religious freedom - things that some people just don't believe should be allowed in this country. As a result, some of my photos have been labeled as "restricted" by Flickr because of complaints from homophobes, zealots and those who would like to rewrite the Constitution. So you have to be an "adult" to view my photos, even though fewer than 5 of the 7,000 photos have any form of "nudity" in them. If you are a "mature adult," that would even be better.
