Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I started photography in 2006 as a hobby but it has since grown to be an addiction & my camera is never far from my side. My first camera was a S9500 and have since changed to a S100FS. I love taking macro shots of flowers (as you can see from the amount in my photostream) but also like taking any nature/wildlife photos too. I'm very much for natural light and colour so it's very rare for me to process my pictures, just cropping or straightening as the only time I use a tripod is for night shots.

Now retired I've got more time to learn more about photography and the capabilities of my camera.....I hope!!! lol!!

Please don't add me as a contact because I have commented on one of your pictures and invited it to a group. I find it hard keeping up with the contacts I now have, at times. I'm very sorry but some of my contacts that never reciprocate will find themselves deleted from my list.

    "Maggie is a photographic star.

I've known her for a very long time - from the old MyFuji site.
Her photography was always fresh and adventurous. I've watched her skills and interest grow over the years to the splendid standard she has attained.

It's always a pleasure to view her photostream, there will always be beautiful images to admire and enjoy. She is a very talented lady and a really loyal friend."

"Since being on flickr, I have to say...no one photographs a flower like Maggie! I've been amazed by how she captures the true delicacy of a flower and gives her photos a sense of "softness" about them. I'm very proud to be her contact and continue to be inspired by her talent."

"I can't believe I'm the first to write a testimonial for Maggie - she has an army of fans who look out for her images and one only has to look at them to see why! She has an amazing eye for what makes an outstanding picture, particularly of flowers, which she clearly loves. The range and quality of her botanical photographs is awesome and I have learned a lot from looking at her work.
Maggie is also a wonderful Flickr friend, always looking out for work by her contacts and making generous, helpful and charming comments. I count myself lucky to have found her photographs and to call her a friend. I hope she will long continue to enjoy her hobby and keep in touch."
