  David doesn't leave a comment he doesn't mean, and dishes out as good as he gets. He's amazingly generous and funny with this comments and time (if you have not, be sure to check out Photo Now). Even though he's miles and miles away, I get the feeling that if I needed a big bear hug or a burly bouncer, David would be the guy. He's a true outdoorsman and a fantastic photographer.

  "David is a fabulous photographer, with a great eye, and a seemingly obsessive desire to capture the world around him. He and Captain Morgan have been the moving force in making PHOTO NOW the very best and most supportive group in Flickr.
  
  If he relentlessly pursues all other aspects of his life as he does his photography, one can only assume that he is living life to the fullest.
  
  I owe a lot to him for inviting me to this group, which has help me share this passion for photography with a group of fun, like-minded people.
  
  Plus, thanks to him, I can now say that I received messages from Maury County, TN and Faisalabad, Pakistan on the same day, asking me where the hell I've been, when I dropped out for a few days!"

  "I came Late to the obbsession that we call our hobby, and i was always a little unsure of the pictures I took, I always doubted that someone else may find them "lookable" or interesting. Dave convinced me that any picture is worth looking at because, if thats how we see a instant slice of the world at that one time, its worth everything, because its what we saw. I am still to be convinced my pic's are any good (some of Daves are breath taking) but with the constant encouragement and help, advice, and tips I'm getting more pleasure from this insanity (I almost take a camera with me ...everywhere!!) than I thought would be possible. With more mentors or just folk with a passion for life and how this life is seen, like my mate Dave then this sorry planet we call our world could become a much prettier place. I will continue to practice, play and experiment with cameras, form and light and always listen to those who are willing to talk, just like Dave
