The New Media Consortium has created the NMC Campus to further the efforts of teaching, learning, communication in virtual space. Designed by the Electric Sheep Company, the campus features a museum, library, clasrooms, board room, large public gathering spaces, ampitheatres, as well as many other informal places.
Currently the campus is a private island for faculty, staff, and students from NMC institutions... but stay tuned for announcements about a public version opening sometime soon.
