Photos mostly focus on Philadelphia, including the Philadelphia Flower Show, Philadelphia murals, Fairmount Park, my neighborhood, neighborhood greening, historic/cultural sites, and the passing scene. I ride my bike a lot and carry a pocket point-and-shoot with me. It's not the greatest camera in the world but it suits my purposes. There are also some travel photos. (Edit: I now own a camera that cost more than a mortgage payment, but I don't always carry it with me.)

Most of my photos are intended as record-purpose shots, to convey information about a subject. Any emotional, philosophical, or artistic merit is secondary, although I do try to pay some attention to composition.

No extraneous images in your comments, please. I can live my whole life without your sparkly award and suchlike fripperies.
