Photography is meditation. For me, it's a discipline and an acquired skill that I work on every time I pull out my camera. Knowing that I'm not talented doesn't stop me from loving the act of making pictures! It stops me from making my profession the act of making pictures, but I'm okay with that. I'm a hobbyist with modest means who makes the most of what she has. It's frustrating and transcendent and an act of faith and I really, really love it.

My contact list includes some real life acquaintances but mostly its a compilation of wonderful photographers who just blow me away every time they post. If I've added you, it's because I don't want to miss a single example of your amazing art! I'm not very "talkative" on Flickr since I have two active blogs elsewhere, but I'm always happy to see a comment.
