Hi, first of all a big thanks for visiting my photostream. Please don't hesitate to comment and critique my photos if you haven't already done so. Your comments and critiques are more than welcome. I'd love to know what you think of my work.
I hope you enjoy looking at my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

I've added you as a friend but you've only added me as a contact. What gives?
Please don't be offended by this, I don't post any personal/private photos on Flickr so there's nothing for you to see if I grant you friend/family access. I add everybody as a contact.

I've just joined Flickr, favourited your photo but then you blocked me. Why?
If you join Flickr and don't share any photos, don't have a profile, don't join any groups and don't even change your profile icon then expect to be blocked after adding my photo to your favourites along with possibly other people's photos. They may block you too since your actions are considered highly suspicious. If you've just created an account to add only my photos to the favourites (as sometimes happens possibly with a view to downloading them) expect to be blocked right away (I don't upload high-res anyway). Sorry. You should at least get in touch and explain what you're doing before you favourite my photos then I might consider not blocking you. If you have a legitimate reason then asking permission first (a quick e-mail or FlickrMail will do) will let me know what you would like to do with my photos and won't end up in a block. Thank you for your understanding.
