"Emma came to me looking for an equal trade. I said for this antique couch it would cost her a LOT of money, or something worth equal value. She looked around her car, and then her purse, not finding anything of significant value. As an antique collector and trader, I know the value of just about everything on the black market. Then her eyes lit up. Out of her purse she held a small baggie of nail polish. My reply could be seen in my expression, which was one of distaste and confusion, like a baby nursing on a man's nipple. She confided in me that this was in fact, the very nail polish that Ozzy Osborne used during his last tour with Black Sabbath. Without a letter of authenticity, it had no value to me. But then she showed me the photo of Ozzy giving her a piggyback ride through Trafalgar Square, and I knew it was real.
I helped her put the vintage couch into her car and saw her off. This was in the Spring of 1973 and one thing hasn't changed about Emma. She has a knack for good taste, an eye for quality, and one heck of a collection of celebrity makeup."5th January, 2011
