Note: As of January 2011, the vast majority of my photos are shot with manual settings only. Every once in a great while I use Shutter or Aperture priority. All information is available in EXIF.

As most shutterbugs, I've been interested in photography since childhood. Back then, all I had was a manual-advance point and shoot. Around high school I graduated to a 35mm, but still didn't know anything about the art of photography, I just liked taking pictures!

Currently I own a Nikon D50. I have a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 and Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-f/5.6 lens. We're broke as the LHC on day 2, but I would love to get some more lenses if we ever have money to spend again!

I'm ever interested in learning more about photography and photo editing. I have the basics of ISO, shutter speed and aperture down and recently began shooting 100% in manual mode. Previously I was shooting in aperture priority most of the time.

I love to receive comments to my photos and I do not mind criticism! If you have any tips or tricks - would like to see the photo taken differently, whatever - please let me know! I will not be offended if you offer constructive criticism on any of my photos.

I do not aspire to be a professional photographer. I just want to take awesome photos of my kids and our life together so we can leave them something cool for their own families to enjoy one day.

I would not like to receive comments which include icons or award images. Nothing sparkly, glittery, blinking or otherwise obnoxious, please.
