Since March 2005, a group of talented Brazilian and Dutch volunteers, all of them with academic and professional experience in several areas, has been working hard to materialize the project of a Brazilian art and cultural centre, which acts far beyond the presentation of the most well-known aspects of Brazil and its traditional cliché’s.

A Hora do Brasil Foundation is subscribed at The Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam since August 2005. Its creation opens up a new podium in The Netherlands for activities related to Brazil and its culture.
