I love what I do. Wedding photography, for me, is more than the creation of beautiful images. It's a chance to tell the full story of the day, so that those who were there can remember the full arc of the event, and those who weren't able to attend can get a real sense of the experience. It's also about sharing the joy of the event.

A little about me:
- I am from Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Madison

- My father was a professor of counseling Psychology, which I think is part of why I am so emotionally grounded

- I worked for years at Phantom Lake YMCA camp as a counselor, and many of my closest friends were made there

- My husband and I wrote a book about Wisconsin Cheesemakers (I took all the photos, and ate a lot of cheese)

- I spent a semester in Sevilla, Spain during college and loved every minute of it. Part of my heart is still in Andalucia.

I update my blog all the time with new information, and I shoot a lot of food photography for the Heavy Table when I am not busy with weddings and portraits.
